Our Family Site - Little Thunder by Elisabeth Burrowes

Sometimes she made baskets with pictures of Indians walking around the sides of them.
Sometimes she made lovely dresses of deer skin.
She scraped the deer skin with a sharp stone till it was smooth.
And scrubbed it with sand till it was white.
And rubbed it in her hands till it was soft.
Then she sewed beautiful beads on it, in patterns, round and round.
