The buffalo opened one eye.
Then he opened the other eye.
"Ah!" said the buffalo. "What is that, running through the grass?"
Suddenly the buffalo saw Little Thunder.
And he jumped up and ran after Little Thunder.
"Ah-oh-eee-oooo!" cried Little Thunder.
"What shall I do?"
"What shall I do?"
Now it happened that Big Thunder was up on the hillside.
Big Thunder was on his way home from the Pow-Wow. And he was making some big, new arrows and a bow for Little Thunder.
Big Thunder looked out across the valley.
